Programs Offered:


The BComm is a four-year program, and students can enter in their first or third years. BComm students can do a general commerce degree, or choose to focus on one of 15 possible concentrations including: Accounting, Management and Entrepreneurship, Finance and Risk management, Operations Management and Petroleum Land Management.

BHRM (Hotel and Resort Management):

Unique in Western Canada, this two year program provides excellent preparations for students wishing to pursue management careers in the hospitality industry.


The Haskayne MBA program is flexible and allows students to create a program to fit their unique lifestyle. Options include course based (daytime or evening) or thesis-based programs.

Students can specialize in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Finance, Global Energy Management and Sustainable Development, Marketing, or a Custom Specialization designed to meet students' individual interests.


The Alberta/Haskayne EMBA is a joint program with the University of Alberta. It is designed to equip graduates to meet the entrepreneurial, administrative and leadership demands of executive management. The program concludes with a 10-day international study tour.


A small program that admits only five to six students per year, the Haskayne PHD program is flexible, innovative and student driven. Each student has a supervisor from the first day onward. Students can work as graduate assistants and pursue their own research interests throughout the course of their studies. The business school supports the efforts of students wishing to combine a doctoral program in management with doctoral studies in another discipline. These joint programs are individually tailored to meet student interests and needs.

Executive Education:

Haskayne Executive Education programs combine the most current and relevant business management concepts with an active-learning environment. The result is exceptional leaders and improved competitiveness and value for organizations. Programs offered include: Corporate Training & Development, Management Development, Leadership Development, High Performance Negotiating, Directors Education Program (in partnership with the ICD Corporate Governance College), and Leadership On The Run seminar series.
