Unique Factors:
The Queen's - Cornell International Executive program is a unique and exciting program made possible through a partnership between Queen's School of Business and The Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. Cornell is the largest of the eight Ivy League universities. The program enables participants to earn both a Cornell MBA and a Queen's MBA while they continue to work. It is offered via videoconference in major cities across Canada and the northeastern United States. Graduates of the program become full-fledged alumni of both schools.

Teaching Method:

The program is delivered by live, fully-interactive Vvideoconference. There are also three residential sessions held at Queen's (Kingston, ON), Cornell (Ithaca, NY) and just outside New York City.

Class Location(s): Vancouver, Calgary, GTA, Montreal, Ottawa and the northeastern US


Class Date Options:

Opening Session at Queen's and Cornell:
This two-week session begins in late June Week one is held on the Queen's campus and week two is held on the Cornell campus.


Boardroom Learning Team Sessions:
Classes are held on Saturdays from 9:15 am to 5:45 pm Eastern Standard Time.

Business Venturing Session at Queen's and Cornell:
This twelve-day session begins in late January. One week of the session is held on the Queen's campus and one week is held on the Cornell campus.

International Business Session:
This ten-day session begins in early July at the IBM Executive Learning Facility located just outside of New York City.

International Business Project Travel Period:
late August through late September

Entrance Requirements:

  • 6 Years work experience
  • 3 letters of recommendation, including one from the senior management of your company
  • Resume
  • Undergraduate degree with an above average Grade Point Average (or equivalent senior management experience).
  • Successfully pass the GMAT test

Residency Requirement:

  • 2 weeks in June
  • 2 weeks in January
  • 10 days in July
