UCAN developed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program that emphasizes leadership, action and solutions. The program enhances students’ professional abilities and gives them the skills sought by contemporary businesses. They learn to identify challenges and opportunities, draw on technology and information, and use advanced analytical and planning approaches that will allow them to create positive changes for an organization. Students in the MBA program also build competencies in critical thinking, persuasive communication, systems analysis, change management, leadership, diversity and business ethics.
Specializations/streams
One-Year MBA Program
Students who possess Bachelor of Commerce, Administration or Management may be eligible to enter the accelerated program that allows them to complete an MBA in one year. In this stream students complete 10 courses to earn their degree. This program is available online or at campuses in Vancouver and Victoria.
Two-Year MBA Program
Students with a non-business undergraduate degree can complete a 17-course MBA on campus or online in just over one year. In addition, UCAN may be able to further accelerate a student’s MBA program by crediting previous studies and work experience.
The UCAN MBA program is an intense and comprehensive program taught in small classes by outstanding professors. The program also brings together a community of students who are well-qualified, professional people from all over the world.
