School Name
Sauder School of Business
Unique Factors
The Sauder School of Business was the first Canadian school to introduce integrated teaching for MBA programs and has advised other Canadian schools on the development of similar curriculum. New MBA students spend the first three months of the program in the Integrated Core. Team taught by a group of five of Sauder’s top faculty, students learn how all facets of business inter-relate. Following the core, students take focused “modules” towards a specialization in one of eight business areas. At Sauder, career development workshops are mandatory for graduation and from May to August students complete an 8-12 week mandatory paid internship within the industry of their choosing. Sauder offers MBAs the opportunity to take part in an exchange program with one of 27 exchange partners in 21 countries. This international focus is supplemented by the school’s International Business sub-specialization.
